Bio-Trac Overview
Bio-Trac, Biotechnology Training Courses are offered by the FAES under contract with R/M Nardone Associates, Inc. at the National Institutes of Health. Students may register for either a 3 day ($750 - 21 contact hours) , 4 day ($795 - 28 contact hours) or 5 day ($850 - 35 contact hours) lecture and "hands-on" laboratory training course. With all Bio-Tracs, each participant will recieve a binder that will contain all the presentations (printed in color), protocols, and reference materials that are needed. No additional books are required.
Academic Credit
Although no grades are given for Bio-Trac Courses, each participant will receive academic credit . Upon completion of a 5-day program, two academic credits are earned or one academic credit for the completion of a 4 or 3-day workshop. Upon completion of each Bio-TRAC program, a certificate from FAES is issued.
Limited Enrollment
Mail registration is accepted on a first come, first-served basis. The deadline for mail registration (TRAC courses only) is one week before the first day of each TRAC. Each completed registration will be confirmed by mail. If you are unable to register before the mail-in deadline, please call 301-496-2316 for space availability and walk-in registration procedures.
